Door panel removal

well my passenger door has some problems from one of my friends constantly slamming it shut. she seems to think that a push-off to a running start is necessary to shut the doors...

either way the window is jacked and makes horrible sounds when rolling down and i now have custom door suckers (door won't stay open on it's own, it shuts no matter what even though it will open 100%)

i've searched around and i found this

DIY - Door Lock Actuator Fix

DIY for the door lock actuator, which shows somewhat how to take the door panels off. i have to fix that as well, while i'm at it but i was wondering if there is anything else i should know or tips when i take the panels off so that i don't ruin anything.

just take the screws off, pull off where all the clips come off, pull up over the lock now, very simple thing

acural2000; on March 8 AFKMONE asked a similar question on org site. A reply
provided the wiki DIY. If you care to search for that post; I think you will find it
very helpful.

Just be careful when you remove the handle that opens the door, there is a screw on the back side and if you are not careful you will break the handle. There are two screws behind the plastic plate on door handle and two screws on the bottom of the arm rest (on sedans). I'm assuming here that you are doing this on a G2 Legend and not on an RL.

Not much we can help without seeing it. When I install a window I always first move the window up and down to make sure it moves easily before attaching it to the regulator. Then before putting the panel on I use a battery to run the window up and down a few times to make sure everything also works. If it is having a hard time then to me that would point to it not being in the tracks correctly or not aligned right (I also always mark the position of the bolts with a marker before removing the regulator).
