Door plastic cover adhesive...
Does anybody know what does Acura use to affix the plastic covers on the doors? What I am talkking about is the that sticky adhesive that looks and feels somewhat like a plasteline (it is white/yellowish on my car) and it holds the weahterproof plastic sheet on each door. I had to do some work on the front doors today and had to remove the plastic covers. Thanks!

No
Don't know what they use, put someone posted that they used Duct Tape. Yeah...I know all purpose equipment.
They said they also used it as sound dampening all over the doors and it worked very well. You could give this a try for about $3-4.00. ![]()
