Ive got secret compartments, but I have nothing to do with drugs or illegal activity...im going to call the California DMV right now...


EDIT:

Just got off the phone with them....there is nothing in the California Vehicle Code that prohibits you from having secret compartment is your vehicle....maybe I should try calling Georgia's?

i got stopped by narcotics police because I had third brake light out once...he was real cool, took me back to his car and I sat in the front and talked to him. Came to find out he went to a rival college and we talked about football and he told me how other prick cops would give me a ticket for that (and a couple other things) and try to search my car......my sister bought her 17yr old daughter a civic and when she was cleaning it she found weed stashed in weird places...kinda funny, I blamed it on her 14yr old son, said he was runnin drugs in his sister's car.

+1 cops fuck up your shit when they search it. i have a nice big scratch on my less than 1 year old tint because my drivers door doesnt stay open and it kept on closing on the officer who of course carries everything on his waist which caused the scratch. i was pissed.

for some fucked up reason the cop thought i was hiding stolen rims in my car. four of them..

i just let him search .. w.e .. and plus the cop was cool. telling me about his school years and stuff too...

oh yea best place to stash shit is either in a small compartment in your sub box, or have a fake amp lying around thats "works" .. haa it always works

Just got off the phone with the GA DDS....

Yes....it is in fact ILLEGAL to CREATE secret compartments in your car.

If it is something that the manufacturer originally put in the car, then its okay (like a center console or an armrest pocket)...but if YOU add something to your car that modifies it to be utilized as a hidden storage compartment this is illegal in the great state of Georgia.
