EGR valve cleaning DIY?

You guys know of any value in cleaning the EGR and accompanying hoses or paying someone to do it.. DO NOT need a snide reply.. just want to do all the maintenance i need to do. the car drives well its just the engine vibration reaches the cabin a bit... my moms CL is much quieter.. i suppose its just an improved design. Ive been told the engine mounts are in good condition so those are fine.. i also used about a can of seafoam through the vacuum line to the intake.. tons of smoke came out. any other maintenance items you all can think of???? (within reason)
thanks

so far things i have replaced/changed
New Iridium NGK plugs
Flush Tran fluid
FLush brake fluid
new timing belt water pump
new air filter
took throttle body off and cleaned it
alignment/new tires
all new belts
differential fluid changed.
was told coolant looked good
rest of car inspected.. told no issues with other systems
(ie suspenison components)
hmm what else...
il edit if i think of other stuff

k

alright...its on the back of the manifold.....a b*%$^ to get to.

So run this product through....3M intake cleaner...costs $15 a can, the best on market. I think you need some device to run it in front of air intake(to vaporize it). Clean throttle body with a cleaner made for it..brake cleaner and carb cleaner will wear the teflon coating away( no worries though..).

Thats all i got...
i had mine off when doing heads(124k) and it was clean but i dremeled the one hole a little bit to make it round( ) and a little bit bigger but not much.

hope this helps.
