Electronic Steering column diagram, anyone?

Need the wiring diagram for the electronic steering column and component locations if anyone has it. I was looking in the helms manual here and could not find it. I just got the column from ebay and plan on converting my crappy 91' column to an electronic 94', once I gather up everything else I need(that's why I need this info). Thanks

i have some diagrams you might need, i'd recommend you get a support beam (its the beam the column mounts too) as the 94 and up is different from the 91-93

So are you saying that it does not just bolt right up? Or is there some part that I might be able to swap? Thanks

yes the 94/95 column will not just bolt up in a 91-93.

The beam onto which the column bolts to has a different flange on it. U need to replace the whole bar inorder to get column to work, else it will not fit.

Is the DPMS control unit the switch on the drivers door panel? I know that I am missing the the steering column control unit (relay box) and the switch. Is the steering column memory sensors a separate unit?

You talking about the bar that goes across (under the dash)?

yes. But what you can do is wire the controls directly to the motors, (with a relay and fuse of course). You wont get the memory nor the thing it does when you turn the car on and off (it moves into positions) it'll just stay were to put it.

yes.
I am going to be getting the relay box next week that's why I was asking whether the memory sensors were seperate from the relay box or the DPMS. Do you have the cross bar or any of the other components that I am missing for sale? I want the memory features, kinda seems corny without them. Thanks

Yeah that's true because what I can't stand about my 91' is that it does not have tilt. I'm just saying that if I'm gonna invest the time, money, and patience; I will try to do it the right way(a full swap).

Also, would you happen to know if the memory sensors are a seperate unit? What is the difference in the crossbar, do you think I could possibly cut the old studs and weld new ones on or drill through the cross bar and place bolts through them to mount the column?

What do you mean? All I know is that they have the power seat forward/back switch at the top and heated seats. Does this have something to do with the steering column memory sensors

no, i had the two bars side by side, i cannot find the pics but its pretty clear that since u'll the bars, you might be able to cut the support part off the new bar and weld it onto yours but its a lot easier to just reuse the 84 bars. check the local junk yards.

i think mostly they changed the modules but i think you should be able to wire it up properly if u get all the new modules.
