Ok i posted last year about failing after my rebuild and after i changed my o2 sensors i passed. Now the dreaded time has dawned and i failed... Twice. After i failed the first time i changed my plugs, ran seafoam through the tank and before i left work i put octane booster in there... FAILED again. Im passing the 25 mph test on NOx with a reading of 10 and the max allowed is 796. Im failing the 15 mph test with a reading of 1406 and the max allowed is 879. Im going to try de-natured alcohol next. Im already on a quarter of a tank. Any Advice ANYone??

93 only. I believe I saw a diy for the egr pipe floating in here. I should have used more denatured alcohol

Clean egr pipe and you may need to have intake pulled and cleaned.

The egr pipe wasclean. But the valve was pretty clogged up. Ill try replacing the valve.

If it was clogged then the back of the intake I'm sure is clogged the best way to clean it is to taken it appart but get new gaskets b4 u do that.

Mann this is my only DD and the intake is very time consuming. When i peeped inside the back of the manifold it looked pretty clean just like the second valve. There are two valves correct? the one at the center of the back of the intake was clean as a whistle. The one on the pass side was the one that looked pretty knarly. With the clip on it

I had to put fuel injector cleaner from the 99cents store. lol. I did it with 3 tanks and then I passed. Plus I stopped using that cheap dirty gasoline and went to Chevron because it has cleaners in it.
