I don't know how to get the engine stiffener loose. My ratchet also doesn't really fit through it. And the biggest nut on it is just almost impossible to get loose. Am I doing something wrong? I already took off half the steering rack to get to it but still no luck.

I've only removed it when I've taken the engine out, so I guess I'm with JonsLegend, why are you trying to remove it?

To get the oil pan out, I got the differential out yesterday which was a pain, so figured this would be easy. However the block stiffener is in the way, so I cannot unbolt the last few nuts, including the one to take off the, im not sure what's it called on an automatic but the flywheel cover? That one is also blocking a few nuts.
