Engine Warning light-Any easy way to Disable?

OK....standard thread here....have a 95 Legend (have a 92 also and love them). But its time for the emmissions test here in CT. THe code I get is a 12....all vacuum lines have been cleans and it al checks out perfectly...only I still get the light....and as we all know...I can't even start the test with a light on. I am quite sure the car is functioning well....but I need to get through this damn test as the state is now holding my Registration till I pass....
So...any easy way to disable the light...temp or permanent?

Any help appreciated
I searched the forum for hours and never got an answer for this question.
Oh....and I have pulled fuse 15 with no luck.

Thanks again in advance

I would pull the ecu connector and remove the wire that runs to the bulb (connector A, wire 13, blue, top row middle right under the locking tab) if you remove it carefully you can re-insert it when you wish with no damage to anything and it's a lot easier than removing the dash....(at least I think so...)

NPR's "Click and Clack" suggested that fuel/air mix changes when one
lets up on the accelerator and the change triggers the "check engine" light.
A starting point is the PCV ($24.00 at dealer, less elsewhere.) My light stopped
when 1. I changed the VSS, 2. the temperature dropped (Fall,) and 3. I removed
the PCV from the Head and shook it to see if it rattled (it did after I shook it.)
I am clueless; however, my "check engine" light no longer comes on when I lift
my foot from the gas after highway driving. I would change the PCV as a starting
point. Also, consider the CRC "pass any emission test" liquid available at Advance Auto
for about $5-7.00. I did pass my emission test; however,I had no previous problems in prior inspections. At 240,000 miles. I did not want to take a chance passing the
inspection without PCV/CRC efforts. My results were "low" on the chart; the car passed by a wide margin. Perhaps it was the Autumnal equinox; I do not know.
Have you "failed" a test, or are you just concerned about passing? The "check
engine" light might be irrelevant to an emission test depending on the state (CA?)
