I already did a search.
I am in the process of pulling my transmission so that I can replace the clutch and cannot get the last top passenger side exhaust manifold nut off to drop the pipe out. It is way up on the side of the engine and almost impossible to reach. I have taken everything else out so far but this one thing is holding me back. I have to do this job ASAP because I am moving in 3 weeks to my new home and dont want to tow my legend. I just cant get a socket on it good enough to not slip off when I turn it. Any really good suggestions would be helpful. THanks anyone!!

i guess you mean the Y pipe, not the exhaust manifold. you dont have to take off the manifolds in order to drop the tranny.
you have to take off the drivers side bolts first, then the mid bolts on the passenger side, and take off the whole piece, except for the small part that is still connected to the manifold. then you will be able to reach it a whole lot better.... |
