Not at all. I had the guy who painted my car do it and there was only one place to put it on.

I think he may be referring to the wiring of the 3rd brake light. If it's true OEM, there will be a wiring harness & some relays. If not, there's some cutting and splicing to do. The search function is your friend.

I have a nice black OEM spoiler... I am too scared to drill holes in my trunk and put it in.. plus it needs paint.

Should I just install the black trunk lid I have that has the holes and wiring in it and paint the trunk lid?
