Fan Control Unit...

Thanks to a diagram posted by MikeD, I took the fcu out and took it apart. Took it to my local eletronic shop (I dealt w/b4) anyway, about 3-4 soder points looked jacked up, So he sodered all the bad ones and $10.00 later I put the unit back in and Viola! problem solved.
I have a howling noise from compressor. I hope its only low on refrig or oil and not about to go....Oh well I can always pick one up from Hunts Point...

I am taking it to my mechanic to diagnose noise...

where is the fan control unit located?

It is located in the front footwell to the left of the passenger side right below the glove box. The FCU on my car was brown.and about the size of a deck of cards.
