i have a question for you guys that have already done it. from my understanding after you mod the sunroof, you just press on the close button and it will tilt. so how do you close the tilt, by pressing the open button? also, if you have to press the open button, how do you get it to close perfectly?

out of respect for the men that actually did the research and came out of pocket. when they time is right diretions might be posted. And it is appreciated that no one is wantonly distributing information on "how-to" do it. Thanks guys!

Well, this is the 1st thread I've seen when someone keeps the info to themselves and personally I think it goes against what the Acura Legend community stands for. So, they can take the "MOON ROOF TILT MOD" and stick it up their A$$. My point is: share the wealth or shut the fu(K up about it.

Props to the guys who figured it out on their own
Lets PLEASE not start this again. If you want to talk about that go to one of the many wasted threads and post.
Later!

hahaha another argument....

i've already stated my points....but didn't i tell you guys it wasn't that hard and if they put $1000 towards the "research"....then they didn't know what they are talking about.

Years ago in my youth, I came across these words:

"It is better to be thought a fool and remain silent, than to speak and remove all doubt" - unknown

To my fellow forum members, some of us crave attention. Just ignor the fools and their post and they'll go away.

fut, were you referring to me and my explanations?

well heres a quote for you, "it is better to be right, than wrong"-jigga622

as i said before, i do endorse the ideas of bringing aftermarket/mods to the legend, which has very little, but this is a community, not a business. i'm all for business thats why i didn't come out and say how to do this mod, but i just got a little upset at some stuff that was being said towards me.

well good luck with it guys

Just finished it after studying the roof mechanism for a minute. Only need basic tools and some backyard engineering skills. Impressive once you see the finished mod. I vote this the best free mod of the year.

BTW:

ATL only: l'll do mod for you for only 30 bucks.

u press the open button for a second. It will close and make a "thump" sound. But i figure the only sure way of make sure its fully closed properly is to stand outside when its parked and open and close just to be sure. But if u had the mod for awhile, u will "perfect" it.
