Car 1: 2001 Bullitt Mustang, 1991 Sedan L 5-Speed

Finally I get to drive my Legend! (kinda long)

So I bought this Dark Blue 1991 L sedan over a month ago. It had 95,000 miles and all the goodies (leather, sunroof, Dual-position memory seating - what car has that!?!?). Pretty much great shape and had almost everything done to it recently, such as timing belt, water pump, new brakes, new tires. Only problem is it's a 5-speed and the clutch is gone, like not just slipping, gone. The guy was desperate to sell because he was moving and he knew he's have trouble selling it the way it was, so I paid $1600. I bought a clutch kit off E-bay for $265 shipped, had a local place install it for $460 including resurfacing the flywheel, and finally this week I got it back. For $2300 I got one heck of a car! The thing rides like nothing i've ever been in before (i've driven a few BMWs but nothing nice like this), and the power is really there. especially with the 5-speed. I had the tires chirping on the 1-2 shift and just taking it on some back roads I was cruising at 120 like it was nothing. I bought this car as a winter car (other car is a mustang) and I wasn't expecting all that much. but man was i suprised! it'll be a toss-up as to which to drive even when the weather gets nice... only downside is premium gas, which the mustang doesn't need. I'd been reading this board for a while, and it's really a great source of information (and entertainment ). it's nice to finally know what all you guys have been talking about with this car! so you've got another satisfied member here.

Stick around here, this place is unline any other car forum. The 5 speed sedans are very rare and it sounds like you made out with a hell of a deal. I predict you'll fall in love with the legend and will be driving the mustang next winter :p
