FINALLY, my GS is done *pics*

paid $600 for the paint. all body work, and prep work was done by my dad, brother and i. its a dupont chromabase w/ 5 base coats, 3 clear.

was it a good deal? i didnt shop around, it was a friend of a friend of a friend who sprayed it.

( the guy in the pic is my brother, his name is pj)

how do you prep your car ? can you give any instruction ? how long do you prep your car ? i want to repaint my car and want to minimize the cost as little as possible

basically lots of sanding. any body work we did had to be primered. it all depends on what youre doing and the condition of the car.

sorry, but for the amount of time and work we put into it, we all swore wed never do it again. if anything, i can ask my dad if he wants to do it, but youd probably be better off having a professional, rather than 3 amateurs working on it.
