Found NICE '95 coupe......help w/ mod decisions!!!
Aiight ladies and gentlemen,
I have come across a really nice '95 LS coupe. Tha owner has sent pics of tha car and is simply amazing. He is tha original owner and everything. It's so nice, it's even got my pops excited. That's a plus for all you who know about my past dilemma. There is a down side to this coupe though. It's green. Mind you all that my dream car is a pearl '95. Some may say find a white one so you won't have to paint it. I have found a white one as well. However it is not even close to being as fine as the green coupe. Here's where my problem begins. I've been sayin' I'ma buy tha car then paint it pearl. Been sayin' that since I've seen tha add. Now it's hitting me that I'd be tamperin' with tha history of tha car. I'd like to keep it original, but then I'd like to have it white. Tha original paint job on tha green is fantastic. tha reflections are like mirror type reflections. Should I: a.) paint tha car OEM Cayman white pearl w/ a few accessories OR b.) use tha paint money to mod her up with no paint job Like I said, my dream car is a pearl '95. I do believe this is tha last one I can find in this condition. Tha first one I found slipped away from me, but now this one is almost in my lap. I'd like to get your opinions on this topic. Much love to all |

Like DeNiro said in Meet the Parents, "Genious'es pick green." I say get the car and keep it green and put the money towards mods. Dont hate on green because you are rolling in Cobalt right now

i agree with you about repainting it another color,i've had mine other car painted a different color and it looked good but just when you try to sell it ,ppl be like optimistic about it.if you wanna keep the car for yourself for a while then go ahead and repainted but considering it already has a mirror like finish,i would just sit on the color(green isn't mine favorite either but hey as long as you keep it nice and shiny then it don't matter wat color you have)there are probably better things you can do with da money like maybe put some nice chrome rims on them, they'll look hot with chromes...but tats just mine 2 cents

I feel you.
I'm not a big fan of green either, but I could live with it. I just got lucky and found a black on black coupe. Either way, it seems you have to weigh out the cost and benefits of buying the car, or looking for another one. True, coupes are becoming more rare even as we speak, but you will probably come across one in your lifetime=). Then again, who knows? If you get the car, I'm sure you'll love it. You'd just have to get used to the color, which I don't think will even be a deal once you start driving the bad boy. Either way it's a legend. BTW what year mileage interior color? How much is he asking? |

keep it the same color. just incase you do have to sell it sometime. because the engine bay will be green and the outside will be pearl so it wont look right. and its gonna look wierd when you pop your hood to see a green engine bay. i would say keep it the same. i like the green color it looks black at night. not to much mods to do to a legend but get hids and nice set of rims . i wouldnt do to much to it.

Go with green.....throw the money into nice wheels, a stereo upgrade (a must), and a tYpE r bAdgE DaWG!
![]() But seriously, green is awesome.....for the shape, the price, the maintenance history, etc....go with the green and know that you are driving a sweet legend coupe, regardless of the color....its not like its canary yellow with green spots!

i said that about my 94 ls coupe, i wanted red and got black........it just costs too much to paint....i mean you spend 8K or whatever for the car and spend 4K on a good paint job?????? doesn't make sense..... there are already hot white coupes on this forum......start a new trend...go green also who said green didn't look good...check out this one heres your new inspiration: Cleaned "JADE" Today, New Pics |
