Freakin BHG AGAIN! WTF???????????
This time it's on wifeys Monte Carlo! But, hey, it DOES have 250,000 miles on the clock. And, about a year ago I bought a 35,000 mile 3.4 engine off ebay for $230.00, for it so................... This aint gonna hurt too awfully bad!

Late 80's/early 90's Ford Tauruses were FAMOUS for head gasket problems. And, most of those were before 80k miles. And we thought WE had it bad.

early to mid 90's chrysler / mitsu 4 cycl turbo motors (like the LeBarron turbo) are also notorious for BHG's. They use an iron block and aluminum heads, so the headgaskets don't stand a chance. My friends dad had a lebarron turbo with just over 100k and i had 3 sepereat BHG's, the first ocurring at about 60k!!!

my 97 dodge dakota has some how limped its way just past 165k. we run only pure 30 weight oil in that beast. has had a leaking main seal for the last 15k miles.. and at one point was driven over 200 miles a day for a few years of being a work truck. now i only use it to carry me my buddies and the bikes to the top of the hill.
still starts everytime. still will burn the hides off 29 inch tires. 5.2 liter V8 FTMFW..

we bought it with 11k in 2002 retired it last year with 253,253 on the clock, i had a picture of that. We donated it to my school, as it rolled that mileage over, i actually drove around a few times to get it just like that, hehe. We had done ALOT to keep it running, rebuilt the trans at 150k, timing chain at like 185k but engine was all original, althou at 250k it was infact running like shit and we called it quits with that one. now our new BUS still only has 61k after one year, i hope it makes it to 200k like the dodge did but its a chevy so IDK, hee.
