Free VSS replacement?

Hi All,
My VSS has been acting up for weeks and i finally talked to my mechanic while I was doing my oil change.

He goes to his computer and when he gets to the VSS page, it says contact acura regarding a free replacment since there are so many faulty VSS. Is this true?

Never heard of it, but call Acura and let us know.

Acura did good-will VSS replacements, kindna depended on your dealer and how good a customer you were and mileage on the vehicle....they replaced the VSS on my 91 coupe at 65K for free...but I owned another 92 sedan and had bought an Integra from them too...so if you are in tight with them, maybe they will "goodwill" it....
