Frozen Brake Caliper...again

Well, my front driver side caliper has frozen up yet again. It did the same thing last summer, and I bought a new caliper for $55 and replaced it. Hopefully I can fix it next week, but that won't be until after my 3 hour drive home from school. I'm just hoping that it doesn't grind into or warp the rotor before I can get it fixed. This really ticks me off! If you've never had a caliper freeze up on you, be glad, because it makes your car drive like crap! Anyways, just needed to vent a little bit, but I definetly need to fix this ASAP!

I would not recommend any long trip with a dragging/stuck caliper. It will not only warp the rotor but you can also drive the grease out of the bearing. To replace the bearing you need to use a press. Suggest you either replace before you drive, or if you have tools/time disassemble it, clean/lube and try again. Next caliper from a different source. I have had no problems with the rebuilts I installed from NAPA.
