fuel injectors

i did a search but couldnt find an answer.
if i send out my injectors to get professionally cleaned will that be ok?

should i replace the seals to?

seals and O-rings are the same thing?

how many seals do i need to get and price on these seals?

anyone have pics on where the injectors are located and how hard is it to do?

thanks
rog

Fuel injectors are generally pretty time consuming to replace due to the multiple steps it requires. Here are the O-rings you will need for your injectors... as far as the seals are concerned, you might as well get them replaced while you have the injectors out.

BTW, what is the flow rate on G2 Legend fuel injectors?

Thanks

Rog,
to replace or to install, you should ALWAYS replace new cushion rings on each injector. Install new O-rings on each injector and coat the O-rings with a light coat of clean, thin oil.

Yep, the same things in their meaning and function, but different in her construction (see 1st pic). If you need the complete "How To..." then gimme a call. Hope this helps. -Mike

DON'T BUY USED. They are cheap and you are A LOT better-off knowing that they are new than old. These seal-in your fuel, don't take any risks.

Hi Rog,
yes. It would be better to buy a complete kit incl. all seals and O-rings. Please donīt use USED parts, esp the seals. Ok? The prices? I cannot tell you the prices, because German prices are too expensive. US parts are more cheaper, esp Acura of Augusta, you know?

The Side Marker Lamps! Sorry Rog, but I have in this moment some probs about my work. Will post it later in the Off Topic. Then you can understand me. Is it possible to cancel the order? -Mike

I believe RC Engineering will blueprint and clean the stock injectors for a reasonable charge. The NSX boys use them.

Once you have the fuel rail off, can you just clean the injectors yourself? Is there a procedure or method to do this? Or is this not recommended?

Thanks,

Maybe look into getting new aftermarket high performance fuel injectors. NickD has some, they can give pretty significant gains.

get some 350cc injectors for N/A or if planning on some boost then go for some 440cc's
RC is the place.
