G2 High Idle at Normal Operating Temp

Any one had a high idle problem? I have a GS 6spd, and even after warmup, my idle isn't coming down to normal.

It settles around 1250, and the only way I can get it down is to hold the brake and start to engage the clutch. This will force the idle down and it will usually stay until the next time I hit the gas. Any thoughts? Thanks - Andrew

It sounds like your tps has gone bad. a bad fast idle valve can cause the same problem also. when your car fully warms up, disconnect the connector to the fast idle valve and if the idle drops then u know that valve is bad.

The high idle problem was a result of air in the cooling system. I bled the coolant and my idle returned to normal.
