The CL-S is noticeably more economical (compared to an automatic Legend), especially on the freeway due to that 5th gear. But if you drive the 5 speed Legend just right I'm pretty sure you can get similar, if not better, gas mileage.

Combined city/freeway I get 380-400 miles per tank. I have a five-speed paired with the 3.5RL engine.
I would assume that your Legend has better economy than a 3.2CL Type-S automatic. You car is (marginally) marginally lighter and it's manual too.

I get 100km/10L or 24mpg driving like I usually do. The CL-S would probably give you the same mileage in the city as the Legend, provided your Legend is tuned up. It may be slightly better on the highway.
Hey are you the same guy who did the Type 2 swap in the black coupe and having trouble with the rpm going up and down? I live in Brampton too ![]()

I got 45mpg a couple weeks ago with my automatic type I. I was totally amazed that a 16 year old car could pull so many miles for a gallon of gas. I was keeping track, I had 250 miles on my odometer since the last fill up and it took 5.5 gallons of gas. That makes a little over 45 mile per gallon! Thinking back I realized my car had been towed for 135 miles a couple weeks ago, so in reality I got 21 mpg. How does that compare to an Acura 3.2 CL, you ask? Scroll down............. WHO GIVES A RATS ASS, ANOTHER THREAD ON GAS MILEAGE, OR, OCTANE, THIS HAS BEEN BEATEN TO DEATH! SEARCH! ![]()
