good or bad idea?

my friend has a MINT 94 acura legend LS coupe, champeign, real stock, JDM corner bumper lights, new leather + new paddings, ecu chip and everything.

he has 150k on his engine, and don't really want to tune it up, such as timing belt and water pump, his idea is if the TB goes i change the engine for a JDM one with lower miles...

smart or not? he has 3 legends, 2 sedans(mint) and 1 coupe(mint)

just change the timing belt and wp, it's not that costly of a job. depends if spending more money for a lower mileage engine is worth it to you. 150k on an import isnt even that much

yea, just do that tp+wp job, its not that expesive and unless the engine is in terrible shape then no point in replacing it
