A good day at pick and pull is when. . .

You go to help a buddy find some parts for his Legend and as you are looking at what can be salvaged you look at the car next to you and see this sitting on the car next to you, pulled out and ready for you to take home. lol no play and no wobble all picked out and pulled waiting for me to say hello there Mr. Turbo were you in need of an owner

It was sitting on a Volvo Turbo (.42 compressor and .48 exhaust trim <- Whatever that means) next to the Legend we were looking at oh I better go back tomorrow and grab the injectors

not sure if you were thinking of putting that on a Legend, if you were its too small in a single config.
quick spool up but it would actually get in the way in the mid and topend.
twin config would be ideal but still on the small side.

Lol I gotta do the SC first but when you see a deal like this you can't help but wonder, DV8 you are correct it is a little small but as the first stage of a two stage set of twins that would be pretty cool maybe if I paired it with a .60/.80 Garrett? who knows. Bt yeah it was like 35.00

"staged" turbos are usually applied only to inline motors. Being that Legends have v6's, a twin turbo setup would have one turbo running on each of the two exhaust manifolds (like a 300zxTT or Vr4), rather than two inline turbos (like a Supra or Skyline). In this case, the turbo's would be working together both spun by an equal amount of exhaust gasses coming from 3 cylinders each. On an inline turbo setup, one turbos spools and then forces air into another turbo and then forces air into the intake manifold.

Couldn't I do that if I ran a Y right after the Y-pipe going back to the Turbos setup in an inline fashion? or run them ^ that way but staged by seperate boost controllers.

It's not that I disagree because I don't and a setup like the 350Z would be hot, But I gotta (ok wanna) work with what I have

$35 is great considering the antenna you bought cost almost as much.

Did you clean it up? It looks much more shiny now.

Speaking of shiny you have to check out my new gauges.

Lol yeah it was a good day at the last minute. Yeah for sure, I also finally got my car running decent without a cel. Still needs a good tune though. As for the clutch leak better but not great I may hit it with some automotive GOOP. That stuff is awesome.

Yeah I clead it up a little I wanna clean it much better though so it has a nice look to it.

Boost controllers work by signaling the wastegate to open at a set psi level to let FI out of the system and not into your intake manifold. So you could have seperate wastegates set to hold boost at different times and then have one turbo producing more boost than another, although this really wouldn't be effective. Also, you could set the turbo's after the y-pipe, but that would be a WHOLE lot of piping and would not only be VERY hard to fit, it would be less effective. A typical twin setup would be the most effective I think. Sequential turbo setups usually are opted to be ditched for a big single setup anyway, see most modified Supras, skylines, etc. Good thinking though and I really hope that you come up with a turbo legend. If someone really wanted to and had the money and fab ability, they could really make a beast of a legend. I have no doubt that a 800whp legend is possible, a little impractical with FWD, but so possible with a TT 3.5 or even 3.2 I'm sure!!

I found the specs on my little turbo. It's a Garrett TB0363

The Garrett TB0363 turbos will work well on most 4 cylinder vehicles. These turbos come oil and water cooled (water does not have to be used) and also include the internal wastegate assembly set at 7psi. We recommend using them on motors 1.5L to 2.2L in displacement, making 150hp to 275hp.

Specs:
Garrett model number: TB0363 (T3 series turbo)

Compressor Trim: 50
Compressor housing A/R: .42
Turbine housing A/R: .48
Horsepower Capabilities: ~275hp
Internal Wastegate: Yes
Water cooled: Yes
Wastegate setting: 7 psi
