Good price for cl-s rims?

I really like these rims.

Are they worth $900?

They would need to be bored out right?

Does anyone know a good place in San Diego to have them bored out?

That price is high IMO....you should be able to find a set for around $500.....

Yes they will need to be bored out, will prolly cost $100-150 in SD.

sean - they are high because they are chrome...

fates - for reference, a year ago, i bought my non-chrome tl-s wheels plus almost new tires for $800, and it cost me $85 to have them bored out. you need to decide if the chrome is worth it to you, because you are still going to have to buy tires (and don't forget the shipping cost either, ~$100).

Just get some other rims that are a 18 or 17... the katana Inspire comes to mind... I was at one point wanting to get some TL-S rim but I decided against it, and was goin to get the Inspire in a 17 then I was like I want a 18 and then I just said to heck with it and got 19's......

I had a post about similar wheels. I found a guy with 5 spoke CL-S wheels with tires in CHROME. Guy didn't give me a price yet.

Yeah, I am. $900 is steep, though. I found those '03 chrome CL-S for $600, but didn't like that newer style...

I think that I read in another post that the '03's would not be a good fit anyway, due to the offset.
