Dethred I've owned this car for the past 74,000 miles and three years. The car was in perfect condition when I got it. I later on found all the service records from my dealer because it turned out the original owners serviced it at my dealer. The car was maintained on the dot prior to me owning it, so I have no doubt that they babied the car maintainence wise.
Now I've drivin the car for 74,000 miles. It develiped a problem at around 175k. The car started to over heat, but went only 3/4 way up and back down. I just had the head gasketts replaced, and the car runs well. The head wasn't warped and was reinstalled. I honestly think it's a design flaw. Could it happen again, certainly... I expect it at around 300K so I'll probably have my engine rebuilt after that. Quote:

i paid somewheres around $20 a gallon. The same dealership quoted me $3200 to do the headgasket, they charged me $100 for a new radiator cap and coolant flush--freakin' expensive--i have to get rid of this car when it is fixed--got a baby on the way--cant afford this piece of crap, i'm going back to an accord!

Just make sure the person is reputable... I had to screen 3 mechanics that were all shady before my parents recommended the guy i use now (damn who'd think my mom would know) and he turned out to be really honest and reliable. --=Keith
