heat problems

The car isnt really over heating, but my temp reader jumps up a bar when im waiting at a light, then drops again when i drive off. i was just at the mechanic today to check for leaks and bhg, and the car is fine. the head gasket is relatively new. i am waiting for my car to cool down so i can bleed the rad and put some fresh anti freeze in. what could be my cars problem?

make sure the car is on an incline when u bleed the cooling system and if the radiator is leaking, it might be letting air into the system.
