Here's something like what I have. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/S-K-3...QQcmdZViewItem

Really, you only need the 14mm swivel socket. It works wonders on that bolt.

I believe Sears and probably other places sell those special sockets that are for rounded heads or stripped screws.

well guys i finally got it out my neibour came by tried it with a big johnson bar and got it moveing in 10 mins

I spent the better part of 2 hours trying......

now the egr tube for me was REAL easy about 5 mins and it was off i took it off at the egr valve and found that the easy way the tube was 100% plugged had to drill it clear...

I got the passenger side head off and the gasket looks perfect...which sucks

I m too tired to take the driver side off tonight so in the morning ill try it im REALLY hopeing that that gasket is blown as my car was overheating and doing white smoke big time (but not all the time..) as well as had a bit of oil droplets in the coolant and overflowing the overflow tank

old school but it worked for getting the axle bolt off the jeep spray with coca cola and let it settle a few time then use the correct point bolt (amount of sides and find a way to apply constant pressure for about an hour or so spraying it periodically with more coke (don't flame me it worked)

Post a picture of the gasket. It may look perfect to some people, but I may be able to spot something you're missing.

If it's in really good shape, it's possible that somebody already replaced the head gaskets at one point, and they didn't properly torque the heads down.

That's original, and that's definitely blown. The metal ring around the cylinder was leaking, I can see the discoloration. The left side in the first pic, the right side in the last 2 pics. The breakage around the outside of that ring is also a telltale sign.
