HELP!!! Is it just the fuse or something more serious???

My 95 coupe has been running perfect since I got it. The other day when i turned on my car the rear defroster, radio and radio antenna, intermitant wipers(only--not regular wipers) all went out. Is this just a fuse that needs 2 b replaced??? I took it to a guy n he said he has to remove ALL the panels in the car and trace the short 3 hours of work=$300. Is this guy Sh#$% Me or is he for real??? U guys seem to be more educated about our cars than they are...please shed some light.....

yes it can be the fuse. you will want to check that first.

if the fuse blows out right away, the guy is right. there is a short somewhere (which is what caused the fuse to blow) and electrical work is not cheap.
