Help.. Koni reds bottoming out on oem springs

I installed koni reds on softest setting at on factory perch heights with the oem springs... The front end will bottom out on big dips or bumps... I have heard the factory springs can sag over time on these cars. Is that true? If so oem are a bit pricey compared to some of the lower springs Ive seen. I don't mind dropping it a bit but don't wanna have camber issues or hav to modify something else for it to be done right.. What's my best bet to stop the bottoming out? Also should I set the koni to medium or firm when I go back in there to replace springs if need be?

Hmm I'll def hav to check those. I'll be happy if that's all it is.. The labor of doin new springs after I jus had em out for the koni install would suck.. Bit I def want it right so I will do whatever. Who's the best place to buy bumps tops from?

You realize that you will have to pull everything apart to change bump stops right? Exactly the same amount of work to change the springs. Bumpstops are the cushion looking things that sit on the strut rod under the dust caps. How did they look when u swapped them over from the oem struts?

If i were you id just stiffen up the konis. Unless you overlooked putting the bumpstops on them.
