Hey Old School, did you install a camber kit as well? I'm going to have a set of HR springs and Koni's installed soon and I've heard differing opinions on the camber kit.

No I did not install a camber kit. I just bought new tires and got the car align so in a month or so I will check my tires and see if I will need one. It is lowered so it might effect the negative camber measurement. If it does than I will have to buy a kit and install it to compensate for the uneven wear of the tire.

We put KYB's on all corners of my 91 Legend sedan about 6mos ago. Very controlled and somewhat firm ride. I am very satisfied with how it handles. Working with a rented (free..at Checker) spring compressor is not the easiest job. Be sure to replace the top bushings. All that work you may as well replace all. Be careful or get someone to do the compression. Don
I got the same springs and struts but my bump stop rubber is totally trashed, should I go with a replacement from the dealership or is there a better aftermarket option??

I havent got the KYB Vogtland set yet, but the springs say they are a 1.2 drop all around, are you saying that the combo set wont even work ?

Kyb's aren't a lowering strut. So if you put a lowering spring on it the strut stays compressed and can't travel so it will end up blowing. Also after I put the new tires on the gs and got it aligned I didn't have to get camber kit! But I did replace inner and outer tie rods!
