I went out of town for a few days and left my car at an airport lot where they do valet. They had to jump the car, and when I got there it was running. So we put the luggage in the trunk, and when we got home I pulled out one of the suitcases and noticed that it was really hot. So I felt on the right side of the trunk and noticed that it was really really hot. The only thing I know that's back there with heat is the muffler. The heat comes just right of the spare tire well.

Anyone know what this could be? I just had the blower motor and the spark plugs changed the day before we parked it.

Check to see if you still have the heat shield in place above the muffler.
