Last time I pumped it was $3.84 for Premium here in the South Bay Area. I never really look at prices, because what can I do? Nothing.

I'm pumping regular grade now. $3.19.

Mid grade is usually 15 cents higher and premium is another 20 cents. Screw that.

I've never understood people who drive clear across town for Costco gas so they can save 10 cents a gallon. That's what my grandpa does. When I need to fill up, I stop and get gas -- no price shopping here. But I think I paid $3.23 last night at Quick Trip for 91 octane.

I totally used to drive 10 miles both ways for $.10 a gallon.

When gas was closer to $2.00/gallon, it made sense. I'd save money and would have enjoyed some driving time.

I think the last tank I paid $3.19 or so in Northern VA.
