I found a direct bolt on lambo conversion 2/4dr

has any body else heard of this kit i dont know who makes it it doent say but the link is www.hondaacuraautoparts.com go down to information on the right side click whats new then vdc and scroll down to the 2dr kit or the 4dr kit. It says it was added aug. 17 2004 so its relativly new. The price seems right around all the other kits so my question is who makes it, is it real, and how come i never heard of it. I think them might of advertised that they came out with the legend kit because it says that they are made in the U.S. i havnt heard anything. if any one else knows anything about this kit or can look into it that would be great and post a reply thanks

i've heard stories of some kits not being strong enough for our door since the coupe door is so heavy. but it is defiantly able to be done.

NONE of these kits are bolt on. You're gonna have to do cutting to get this to work correctly. There is just absolutely no way to bolt on this type of door hinge with the hydraulic lift. I've seen quite a few installed, and they're usually a hack job.

For really. Talk about played out. $1600 is a lot of mods for a Legend.

I'd like to see someone try this kit and report back.... I sure don't have that kind of coin, but I'd love to see it done.

I/ve seen on VDC on a Legend sedan and that required front fender mods to clear the front upper corner of the door.

Remember 2 words "false advertising".

2 other words "F'ing ugly"

And finally: Underfunded poseurs can't afford the kit, let alone have the mechanical knowledge to install it.

everybody. sorry let me rephrase myself, lots of people have them, maybe not on legends, but on just about every other car, yes lots of people have them. also, nothing on the legend is just bolt on, lol. anything you do to a legend is a hassle.
