can some one please help me i have a 1992 acura legend that is starting to go down hill one of the problems i am faceing is i can get my rpms above 4000 once the needle hits 4000 is starts to act like if its redlineing some one please helpiv tryied everything

can you explain what you mean by clusters as far as i know yeah the is a all stock legend the only thing iv done is head gaskets shift silinoids and engine temp sensor

on check you ecu connection also check for moisture around the ecu. its under the passanger side carpet.

not a easy way to tell unless you swap ecu's out now unless some one put a l ecu in a ls or ls in type 2 car but being your car is a 92 i shouldnt be a type 2

another thing when i unpulgged the main harness to the transmission waited a minute or so then pluged it back in the car ran fine for about 15 mins then i shut it off and tryied it again and it went back to the way it was do that still sound like a ecu problem

its hard to say if its a ecu problem because it could a vac leak thats cause that

could be that i reused the gasket to the oil pan on the transmission it looked fine but if that didnt seal right it could have some affects along those line true??

No. A oil pan gasket wouldn't cause this. It's more an electrical issue.

thank you guys for the help its very much appraciated and one more thing could a bad shift solenoid would cuase this becuse i didnt get mine new i got it from a pick n pull but im not getting any d4 lights
