Take your friend to an Acura dealer and talk to someone in the service department. Someone there should be able to enlighten your friend.

It comes on the cam a bit around 4000 so you would expect it to breath better and be a bit louder. My NSX comes onto VTECH at around 5500....the only way you can a prove to a knowitall (who has never seen a vtech engine!) is to pull the valve cover and ask him to identify the vtech cams (if he even knows what a cam is). My experience is that arguing with a**h*l*es is fruitless, they are closed to facts.

I think you mean VTEC, VTECH is a phone company

yes VTECH is a phone company...haha my cordless phone is a VTECH, i'm going to VTECH (virginia tech), now all I need is a REAL vtec engine under the legend and im set for 3 vtec's haha

Just give him the number to the service dept. at the dealership and call it the day. Don't go all out of your way and waste too much time on ignorance.
Then tell him you want your 20 bucks in quarters...
