Car 1: 1995 Acura Legend

iTrader: (0)
I want to sell my 1995 Legend Sedan...

Hey forum. I need some advice. Im thinking about selling my 1995 Legend. It has:
1) New Timing belt
2) Water pump
3) New Radiator
4) NewTires
5) Viper alarm (motion Detector)
6) Clear corners,
7) Remote start
8) New pioneer Speakers
9) New Headgasket at 163000 miles.
The car has 165,300 miles. Im thinking of Selling it for $6000. The Body is perfect. Still looks bone stock. The thing is I want the 99 RL - Big Boy Status. So is $6000 a reasonable price considering the work put into it? Let me know forum thanks...

You should state what model you have L, SE, LS, or GS.

I am pretty sure its an SE. The car is fully loaded with the stock 15 inch alloys.

Any rust? $6000 seems a little steep with almost 170K

BTW, it's probably not an SE, even the L's are loaded. Does it have climate control and dual power seats?

have you looked around at what they're selling for in your area? that's a good way to get a bead on the price - but keep in my mind that dealer prices will be higher than what you should be able to get.

I believe he has an LS, he has dual power/heated seats. Us L owners have cloth interior so there is no need for heated seats due to no leather.

that doesn't look like a 95, I believe 95's came with different rims, that looks like a 91-93 L sedan

aahh, L's have leather too. It's the base models even lower than the L's that don't have leather. If it has dual power seats I believe it is an LS.

like mentioned earlier, look at your local market. see who is asking what for what. price yours competitively considering the mileage, year, and condition compared to the others.

In my area, that car wouldn't fetch more than 4-5k. Unless of course you do happen to find the right buyer that will pay for that car. If you don't get any interest at your asking price, and you're not in a rush to get rid of it, just be patient. I have found out that I am not patient when it comes to selling a car. I get the idea in my head that i want to sell it and i always get talked down at least 1000.

My $0.02

I see a type I engine on the pictures. I thought LS and GS had type II?

the trunk is definitely from 94-95. it has the word legend under the acura symbol. i would say its an L, or LS. def not GS, and not 2-toned like an SE.
