Immediate assistance with tilt mod please!

I have tried the needle nose pliers and my offset screwdriver and I cannot get the screws on the stop to budge! Any suggestions?

Ok, I found some liquid wrench in my garage, and I'm letting that soak for a minute. Jeeezus! This would be so easy if it weren't for these two screws!

I think that someone had recently had an issue with the screw. The issue then was that he realized that he was turning it the wrong way.

LMAO! I read that, and kept that in mind! I have someone bringing me an offset wratchet screwdriver, because I only have an offset screwdriver. Have I set the record for the longest time doing the simplest mod yet?

The ratchet offset screwdriver worked for me, because when I squeezed it onto the screwhead, the pressure of the rails pinned the ratchet against the car, giving me the pressure needed to turn the ratchet without it "stripping" the philips head screw.

All else fails try a pair of "needle" nose vice grip plyers. Lock it down on the screw head and turn it counterclockwise if you are looking at the top of the screwhead.

I'm pretty sure someone glued these in. There is no other explanation. They will not budge. One more try and it all goes back together.

i had the exact same problem, it was like the screw was molded in from the top, i really really think its a 95 thing, there really wasn't an appearance of a screw on mines and when i tried i would just strip the "screw" from the botton, i just couldn't get it out, g'luck though, i've stripped legends apart but i just can't do a simple tilt mod either so dont feel bad lol u're not the only one

Have you tried tapping the head of the screw? Sometimes tapping it could loosen it up a lil. Go grab a good size hammer and try hitting it.

Yes, I tapped. Then I went and got a beer, and a chair, and went and sat down in front of that bitch and told her how things worked around here. Then I got my vice grips and wala! Screws came out. So guys, that's the secret, when the bitch doesn't want to listen, tell how it's gonna be. I'm not even lying, that's exactly the way it went. Mod finished.
