Still searching around for a legend, ran across an ad for a 93 L Coupe 6 Speed *yay* with 125k on it. Its at some used car lot about an hour away from me listed little below 10k. (yeah a lot, we'll see how much i can talk down). The carfax checked out ok, but it said in 1996 it was imported from Germany. Yikes, while that sounds kinda cool, I'm wondering what kind of problems, if any, that would propose. Does anyone know any differences between the models. Havent checked it out in person yet, just trying to get some basic info before I head down.

Well it'd have all the EDM stuff that we so covet, for starters. Emissions might be slightly different (not sure) but I'd be wary of rust on a car from Germany. It snows there often and they do use salt on roads.

Was it brought back FROM Germany, but still originally sold in the U.S. (ie, military family)? Or was it actually sold in Germany originally, then brought here? You should go check it out.
