Interior cleaner for leather, etc.. posted in the past...

I searched but could not find this. It seems like a year or two back I saw someone posting a link to maybe a Lexus forum for this interior cleaner. They showed how well it cleaned the leather of I think a lexus and said that it was amazing. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

What was this stuff? Thanks.

Matt

Soft Scrub (choose the one without bleach). Use a soft bristle brush and just clean one area at a time.

Lexol, I believe...

Matt, I think you mean Lexol. It comes in 2 flavors, a pH balanced cleaner and a conditioner (orange and brown bottles respectively). Just did my interior last weekend and works well. You can get the stuff at Pep Boys, but I've heard that it may be cheaper at a tack shop (used for saddles as well).

Ok thanks guys. It seems like it was lexol from what I remember. Maybe I confused Lexol with Lexus

I'll probably try the Lexol and Mr. Clean Magic(b/c I have seen the review in the product review section. Thanks for all of the replies.

Lexol for the cleaner and Griot's Leather Rejuvenator for the conditioner. The rejuvenator is formulated to penetrate through the dye and works much better than a standard conditioner.

you're thinking about the soft scrub lemon scent (non bleach).

I use Lexol.

However someoned posted a LEATHER REPAIR KIT, which I remember the before/after shots looked amazing. Don't recall who it was though.

Oh, yes it is. I took the tan seats out of my son's '91 Coupe yesterday, did the SoftScrub deal and I was amazed at how much difference it made. You don't realize how much crap is coming out of the seats until you compare the panels side by side and rinse out the towel that you use to wipe the SoftScrub off with. Combine that with a carpet shampoo using a Thermax water extraction carpet cleaner & Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser for all of the plastic and vinyl parts and you've got an interior that looks brand new.

Echo that on the ArmorAll. The people that invented that sh!t need to be taken out and castrated. Vinylex is just about the only plastic & vinyl treatment worth using. Don't use anything on the dash---just warm, soapy water and a clean rag.

SOFT SCRUB IS THE BOMB. We did my brothers Q45 with softscrub and it made the leathers look brand spankin new. Then we used lexol to make all supple. Now he just cleans and preserves with the lexol like me. The softscrub just once and you eyes will buldge.
Peace
