you can't just say it....:

glad to see people are realize how amazing projectors are...I'll be finishing up my retrofit in the accord when the TSX projectors come in, hopefully they are slightly smaller than the RL's, I had trouble fitting in my cramped engine bay.

Well, they're not really ready yet.

Let's just say I'm getting someone to do them for me...

He's a lighting expert and a car lover, so he's done this many times over w/ many different cars... I CANT WAIT

Nice setup, can't wait to see the finished product. The only concern is that you may need to trade off your high beam function if you choose single-xenon projectors retro in the JDM one piecer.

The cut off.

Nice, that looks good!

Sergio also has Honda S2000 projectors retrofitted in his JDM headlights:

yes and no. S2K's are "considered" the best for typical retrofits, they are the smallest around and have the cleanest lenses, meaning a sharp cut off line.

TL's on the other hand are Bi-Xenon, meaning they have both high beam and low beam function. the way that works it that the cut off shield has power adapter that when the high beams are activated, the cut off shield "pops open" and it allows more light out, and a higher beam. when the high beams are turned off, the shield goes back to normal position.

TL's also have a 3" lens and the projector in general is a bit larger than the S2k, BUT the TL lens is "fluted" and not clear, meaning it has little grooves in the glass. I believe the purpose the flutes in the lenses is to reduce glare (just speculation here) but it does not seem to disrupt the amount of light being outputted. although, you can change out the lenses on the TL to clear lens and have a cut off line much like the s2k as well as the bix (bi-xenon) function.

in headlights like the legend JDM, there is only one real headlight and that headlight flips between highs and low. in these instances, bi-xenon is preferred so as to not lose the high beam functionality; although many argue that when upgrading from 1000lns (standard halogens) to the 3200lns of HIDs, you hardly use the high beams.

From what I've heard, the Lexus LS430 projectors are the widest and the brightest around. Check out how small the car is relative to the field illumination in this picture.
