Usually people make the front a little stiffer because of the weight of the engine, it shouldnt be a real problem though if thats what you want to do, I would go for a little more ballanced setting.

Shock/strut settings have nothing to do with the weight of the car, so what you stated makes no sense. The reason you set a shock soft or stiff is to tune the handling of the car. A stiffer rear shock will in most cases reduce understeer, which can help a car like the legend (heavy, FWD boat) to turn a bit better. Having said that, it will ride like crap because the rear is so light in comparison to the front, and will bounce on crappy roads.

Im not sure how much the car is gonna drop yet....so scotch r u sayin that i should use the same stiffness all around?...should i just set all sides half stiff?...does the adjustment has to do anything with how much the car drops because i dont want the front to be raised up and the back low when people sit...
thnks for the comments though!

My mistake, I was thinking of spring rates, when I was talking about weight distribution.
But what I said did make sense, you cannot make the front too soft in comparison with the rare, or it well not handle well.

Again, shock stiffness has NOTHING to do with ride height, or how much it will sag with your fat lady friends in the back seat It only affects how FAST the springs move. The Spring rates determine the actual height and weight handling ability. You can set it to whatever stiffness you want, and only the handling will be affected.
