Here's a post of my experience a few days ago. I still have a few tweaks to be up to my standards... which is not very high actually.
Weapon Secret R installed... The supplement ram air kit is nice but not really functional, IMO. Let's compare notes. Let us know how yours work out. |

I've had the intake installed on my car for over a year now.
It's not a bad piece but in retrospect, I feel I should've opted for a full CAI. And mine whissles. I'm the only one here it happens to so it might be something else... Nevertheless, it whissles and it's damn annoying.

the 'ram air kit' is a flexible plastic tube that accordions out to maybe 5 feet, along with an extra coupler and clamp. i never bothered with the one they sent me....

I looked at that intake, and looking at it there are maybe 5 legit intakes made for the legend. Unless you guys know of others...injen,2 by weapon r..dragon and secret weapon. Any input on that?

I have the Injen Short RAM intake with the weapon R cold Air box and it works great and has a wonderful growl under the hood. Gas mileage sucks but Im willing to sacrifice.

Well... there's always the older RM Intakes but I guess those aren't exactly in production anymore eh?

18x7.5 or 18x8 on my wheels. I forget, but it is listed on my cardomain site search for Lejen. As for the INtake of course it decreases your gas mileage. More air = more fuel. I spend about 50 dollars a work week (5days) at the pump, but I do have a heavy foot. On a light week I can make 7 days before filling up, I also have the Telion chip with one of his most aggressive flashes too. I have seriously thought about replacing the chip with the olde and removing the intake, casue keeping my foot off the gas just doesnt work.
