Its just a couple of metal rings holding the badge to the grill just bend it out and slip it back but becareful the studs are plastic.

I'm not proud - how do you do it?

The cloth on one of my rear deck tweeters tore at the edge - too much sun I suppose. Does the cover pull off? Then is it remove the old, cut the new cloth and glue on?

The entire grill on the rear deck (for sedan owner) just pops out. There are tabs in the back holding it in place and small pegs in the front that are held in place by these silly little plastic retainers (which inevitably break as soon as you pull the cover off so I suggest convincing your dealer to purchase new ones for you before attempting cover removal unless you're ok with a little extra vibration going on back there.)

To remove the lid, I use a flat head screw driver between the plastic base and the cloth lid and pry straight up from the front. It should just pop right up and out.

The fronts can probably be done without removing the door panel but the only way I'm aware of to easily remove them is to remove the door skin, straighten the tabs that hold the covers in place and they should come right out.

Can you just wash the speaker covers ?

Yes you can. I did that with mine. All I used was Tide. I soaked it for a few minutes and all the dirt came right off.

I reupholstered my speaker grilles a few years ago to tan but it et dirty so easily, even with scotch guarding it. Im about to redo them with black cloth cuz that dirty look annoys me.
