Phil, this rear is a 7/8 solid bar. I believe the stock one is 3/4 and is hollow. According to ADDCO, it's supposed to be 150% stiffer than the OEM.

Wish I could find something to make me 150% stiffer.

BTW Leon, is the bar heavier than the stock or lighter? Count me in to I'll paypal you on 3/15 too.

Besides the ebay one... does that mean this bar from the group buy is prototype?

I'm afraid that the mounts will break off if it's not strong/thick enough to hold the bar in during turns.

damn I wish things like this came at a better time...I just found my amp and my rims at break neck prices... but plus this I'd be broke...I'm gonna keep up with this though maybe things turn around by the 22nd

I am sorry Rangerjoe. Please remember I just picked up the ball on this, so I need to get some more information on any questions outside of what we have posted above. However, in my original post, I did mention that it is a 7/8" bar. I will try to find out if we can figure out weights and any other specifics. I do not think you will have to worry about anything breaking off as it comes with urethane bushings. If it makes everyone feel better, I will test the first unit to ensure that it is to our standards. This means autocross/track use. I do drive hard, so that would be a perfect test.
