i think the sway bar is 1/4" larger in diameter than the stock sway bar. I think it will be a big improvement in handling and body roll. I want one..but still deciding rather to spend the money on getting my lip and side skirts painted..or to get sway bar. DECISIONS!

Get the sway bar and buy a few bottles of touch-up paint to do it yourself for cheap.

1) Does everyone really think the 1/8 of an inch is going to be a noticable improvement?
2) Has anyone confirmed that the stock bar is in fact a hollow bar?
I've recently taken off the stock bar and it weights no more than 3lbs. The new zinc-plated bar will weight somewhere b/w 6-8lb. Based on Addco's claim that their 7/8" prototype offers an increase of more than 150% over stock, the stock hollow bar is comparable to a solid 5/8" bar. Using basic math, going from 5/8 to 7/8" is like a 1/4" increase in diameter. When you plug these numbers in the formula: [(7/8) / (5/8)] ^4 , you get very close to what Addco claims as the increase in stiffness over the stock bar.

It will have the zinc-plated look:

Is this bar going to be in production after the group buy from the website? The reason I ask is because I am going to be out of town on a regular basis and no time to work on my car right now. I've got the money and am thinking about sending it, but I wanna save for emergencies.

I'm pretty sure the supply is there as long as there is sufficient demand. But at this point, what are the chances of a second round when we're pulling teeth left & right? If she did have left overs, would it cost $50 more like these HERE
Right now, we have that opportunity to get it a pretty darn good price.

Thanks everyone..
Ka8, thanks for clarifying

Everyone, please copy and paste your name and when you will be paying in the format I have done above. In order to keep this thread simple, I suggest that we only use it to discuss payment dates, and post any questions in the other thread. This has the tendency to get huge (page-wise). Mike C, Stevie and 49er I appreciate your comments, just want to ensure that I do not miss any details.

Thanks!

In addition, PLEASE post your Legend S/N in your paypal payment.

Anyone requesting an alternate means, trust me, paypal is quick and easy to use. I have been using it for 3 years with no problems. I rather not touch anyone's $$$. If you must use moneyorder, please email me.

Almost there. Please do not FORGET this. This is our chance to shine. Put it in your PDA, Outlook calendar, Refrigerator, WHATEVER!

This is a relatively inexpensive part, unlike a leather group buy or whatever else, for less than 200.00! Don't snooze and when we have them, you wish you did too! If we can get the actual money in hand, I will see if we can get some more goodies from them as well. But $$ Talks and you know what walks!

Thanks everyone!! Now, copy the list above and add your name/date as I did above. We are almost there......

BIG THANKS to everyone that has committed and sent payment! You will love this I am sure.

PS - Can I get a sticky/slimming of this thread to the topic? I want guaranteed success. Thanks!

Leon,

Before I pay, I need to know what postal service company will the bar be shipped?

It is important to me because receivement at my company depends on the postal service company. Is the $13 buck shipping by USPS, UPS, or FedEx?
