Oops, Volk, I had typed up a response earlier and hit reset form...I thought I caught everything (long day). Listen, if it helps you, I can have your bar shipped to me, and you can meet me to pick it up. How does that sound?

Thanks 9000 and everyone else. We are starting to look good

Got2loveme: this pricing is with the group buy. I do not think you will get that price for a one-off, it will be significantly higher. Therefore, the demand needs to remain high to get good pricing. If we dwindle off, it will not look good. I recommend you jump in now vs. risking having to wait for another group buy

I hope the sway bar in the picture is not the one everyone will be receiving, because if it is, it wont fit.

Look at the differences, not only are the bolt holes mounted the other way, but the bar is bent completely different.

I have a question about the cost of the bar Leon Millette.

This is what you posted as the price break down.

Payment break down:
$132.00 - bar
$13.50 - shipping to the CONUS (Canada/International Extra - please verify shipment fees with me)
$3.96
Total: $149.46 each

You had said the normal cost of the bar is $150. So with the price break down above that is a savings of .54 cents correct?

So would it be right to say that basically we would be paying normal cost and just be getting free shipping on the bar? Still a good price though.

Please remember this bar is going to model the one that was on Ka8Legend's car. I will do a test fit to ensure that the product is indeed righteous as I did with the KMS bar. The normal price is much higher than 150 + shipping, as they would cost significantly more since we are a niche market, and they are not mass produced.

I would appreciate it if we can stick to the facts. The discussion thread is here.

And yes, the bar has been test fitted

The vendor basically needs one of us to represent and collect the funds for this groupbuy (of at least 20) so that she can pre-order the correct inventory from ADDCO. The prototype for this solid 7/8" rear bar has already been tested (good for 150% stiffness over the stock hollow 3/4" bar) and is ready for production. We have shown tremendous interest here and bottom line is "show her the money". By pre-ordering now, we're guaranteed thru PerformanceCenter.com the available stock and the groupbuy price of about $132 plus shipping. Feel free to PM either me or 9000 if you need her addy or furthur assistance.

I would appreciate it if we can stick to that to ensure a good group buy. I am not gaining anything from this. Just want to ensure we are good to go.

Thumbs up

Leon, you probably don't hear this enough but thanks for all that you do for the Forum. I don't know of many people that would have stuck around in the capacity that you have after getting rid of their Legend. Coupled with the fact that you've brought Jasmyn back, that makes it all the more impressive.

All hail, Leon!

Phil, there is a pic (actually 2) of the actual installed bar in the first post of this thread. I think the purpose of the first pic is to show (1) what the kit components are and (2) what a zinc plated bar looks like since the prototype was black. Correct me if I'm wrong, Leon---

Quit hatin' on Leon.:p Everybody's gonna buy your tie bar, too---
