That is exactly what I needed to see. I've been comparing the TII coupe and the sc4 and it seems for me that the Legend wins.

Car & Driver - July 1991 - Legend Comparo

Here's a big one. This is from the 1991 July edition of Car & Driver. They did a comparo of 7 sedans. I only included the opening/closing blurb, the review on the Legend and stats pages. Too much to scan in and my magazine, being 16 years old now is falling apart... Btw, they ranked as follows:

1. Acura Legend LS
2. Saab 9000CD Turbo
3. Audi 900 Quattro
4. BMW 525i
5. Alfa Romeo 164L
6. Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6
7. Volvo 940 Turbo

HOly sh*t i didn't know that was a Black Interior Legend! That's the FIRST i've ever seen of that color combination in a sedan(factory)...

Black/White is EXTREMELY rare on a Legend Sedan. hell even on the coupes it's rare. Good to see that i'll read that article a little later.

Edit, LMAO nm...after close inspection, It's Blue......false alarm people, Nothing to see here

I have the 940 turbo, and i can tell you right now, I personally wouldn't put it in the same class as a Legend, refinement/ride/handling. Though it does deficate all over the Legend in braking, and when slightly modded does the same in acceleration.

EDIT:

and how embarassing!

that link is a copy/paste of a post i made a while back...Eww, I gotta watch what i say
Acura Legend Coupe versus Lexus SC400

from this thread:

Yup well it wasn't move an inches back in 92 during the test but 15 years later that needle spike all the way up as a result of a big famous BHG. However I must said Legend is a fast and luxury car back in 92 lol.

What is tipping you off to a blue interior? I am looking at the original and it looks black to me. Wish I had black in place of my blue...

There you go...That little bit of mismatched color. only the blue interior does that.

Hey nick you think you could scan the Volvo's review too? i'm curious if what i think about this car is what C&D thought about it too.

If it's too much trouble don't worry about it
