Thats funny. My family had a 1993 diamonte station wagon. I would by no means have called it a luxury anything though. Times are always different. Everything from the weight of the driver to the density of the air due to altitude affects how fast times are. Most articles never tell you the specifics of the testing. An auto vs manual can make a difference in the right test driver. I've seen estimations anywhere from 7.2 to 8.5 seconds. Cool article all the same.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

alot of them do nowadays, either bmw and driver, oops, i mean honda and driver....o gosh...car and driver (there we go) would state in some articles the test conditions or motor trend has a section at the end of an article specifying the altitude temp etc.

hate to dredge up an old thread but I have boxes and boxes of car and cycle mags from the 80/90/2k and thought I would look through a box just for kicks and found a december 90 Car and Driver taht tests the new Acura Legend.

I am planning on giving all these boxes of mags away real soon but first I am gonna look through them and then post on Craigslist to give them away.

If anybody wants this December90 CD that tests the 90 Legend just let me know. Its free. I am sure there will be other year Legends tested that I will give away too. Have about 8 boxes to go through tho.
