!!Legendracer needs help!!
Alright,
today i was driving home and my legend just instantly overheated. so i turned it off in the middle of the road while drivin. got out and looked under the hood, nothin seems bad. although, underneath is leaking horribly. just between the differential and oilpan, just pourin out...i dont know what it is or why it all of a sudden starting leaking horribly. the only info i can think of that could possibly be it is between motor swaps last year my differential coolant line was clogged that leads to the oil cooler. nothin comes out and nothin will go in. i ran coolant lines anyway and it drove fine. i dont know if there is if theres any lines inbetween the motor and differential but its leaking right in between there Can anyone help me figure this out???? thanks, max

where does that hose run to....and would you know how difficult it would be to replace

bump..................................
ive read that RL's do not have a differential cooler lines. if i were to re-route that coolant line away from the differential would it be fine....or could possibly blocking it off work just as well???

that line i believe runs to the front of the engine, there is a disk like thing bolted to the engine block that also has lines from the water pump going into it.

mods- 2.5" mandrel exhaust, deleted cat, cold air intake, web cam regrinds, comp cam valve springs, port & polish heads and manifold, tb bypass, egr block, five speed clutch/flywheel, 80a polyurethane mounts all around, type 1 pulley, headers,re-fabed y-pipe, SR5guy Custom Chip, 6speed swap, safc II, strut bar, F/R sway bars, FL tie bars, ksports,tune 243.3 hp 197.7 ftlb N/A dynapack before manual swap 232.8 hp 204.0 ftlb N/A dynojet 10/19/07 13.737 1/4 mile @ 100.207 mph & 2.012 60' NA |

yea i know of that line...i dont have a oil cooler on this engine....and the coolant line on the differential is clogged....its the other coolant hose that is possibly busted and leaking(the one above the differential or where ever its at).

thanks, that does help.....the pic is slightly confusing at first but i see what im workin with now.....all the lines leading to the water pump + oil cooler are gone and not on my motor...there are actually no lines going into my water pump(#3 and#4).
all i really have is the waterpump and differential in that pic and where hose #8 goes into the defferential is what is clogged. thankyou again
