MANUAL TRANNY NEUTRAL SWITCH DISCONNECTION?

how do you disconnect these suckers, one of the washers is leaking oil so i needa swap it out. Do i just pull the black part and then unbolt it with a wrench?

lol, i was confused cause i thought maybe the black rubber is not just a cover but a connector. didnt know for sure if it was suppose to come out as one piece
